What we do
We focus on the person not the condition. We offer a range of support and work with people to achieve what matters most to them.
Hear from people we support
Our support has a real impact on people’s lives. Don’t just take if from us, hear from people we’ve supported.
Work with us
Our highly skilled colleagues support people in our local communities to live life their way.
There are currently 2 million people in Scotland living with long-term health conditions.
Support us and don’t let a health crisis become a life crisis.
Thistle news
A new collaboration that will provide more opportunity for personalised support for people in the local community.
We’re delighted to celebrate the successful launch of a new community hub for people affected by addiction, in Craigmillar and Niddrie, called The Bothy.
On Thursday 8th December, we held our first in-person festive celebration since the start of the pandemic. The event raised around £1,150 (and counting) to provide vital support to people living with long term health conditions in Edinburgh and across Scotland.
Twelve fundraisers take part in the Kiltwalk raising money to support people with disabilities and long-term health conditions across Scotland.
At Thistle, we believe that we See Life Differently, with a focus on people – the people we support and our colleagues – at the very heart of our approach.
