Thistle Submission to Independent Review of Adult Social Care

In late 2020 the Scottish Government launched the Independent Review of Adult Social Care

Thistle contributed a two-part submission, sharing our views on social care in Scotland. 

Part 1 was the CCPS submission, to which we contributed.  Thistle is a member of the CCPS (Coalition of Care and Support Providers in Scotland) and we fully endorsed the CCPS submission. You can read it in full here.

Across both parts of the submission, we highlighted two areas that are central to the Thistle Approach the experience of people who receive support and the experience of social care staff who provide support.

We hope that our contribution to the Review helps to inform new thinking about how Scotland approaches supporting people. The Review is due to share its findings and recommendations this month.
